Es ist uns eine große Ehre, unsere Schrift und unser Design sowohl innerhalb als auch außerhalb eines der bekanntesten Gebäude Berlins – dem ICC – zu präsentieren.

HintergrundNach zwei Jahren der Corona-Pandemie sehnten sich die Menschen danach, sich zu treffen und die reale Welt zu erkunden. Ende 2021 verwandelten die Berliner Festspiele das Congress Center Berlin (ICC) in einen Ort der Begegnung und ein Tor zu anderen Welten. Das Projekt lud die Besucher:innen ein, das zehn Tage lang geöffnete architektonische Wahrzeichen in Interaktion mit Performances, Zirkuskunst, Musik, Filmen und Installationen frei zu erkunden.

Das lange Zeit diskutierte ICC wurde neu belebt und in einen Raum für künstlerische Entfaltung verwandelt. In unserer Interpretation haben wir die markantesten Elemente des ICC in einer dreidimensionalen Collage neu zusammen-gesetzt und so seine architektonische Identität auf kreative Weise erfahrbar gemacht.

Wir entwickelten ein typografisches Beschilderungssystem für den Innen- und Außenbereich, das die Besucher durch die Ausstellung führen sollte.

Für zehn Tage kehrten Körper, Pflanzen, Klänge, Diskurse und Bewegung an einen spektakulären Ort zurück, der einst auf dem neuesten Stand der Technik war.

Unsere speziell entwickelten Beschilderungen führen das Publikum durch die Ausstellung, ohne das bestehende Wegeleitsystem aus dem Jahr 1979 zu beeinträchtigen.
