HintergurundDer Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart – ist eine der wichtigsten Kunstinstitutionen Berlins. Untergebracht in einem historischen Bahnhofsgebäude, spielt das Museum eine zentrale Rolle im Dialog zwischen Kunst und Gesellschaft. Um diese aktive Funktion zu unterstreichen, haben wir für den Hamburger Bahnhof eine neue visuelle Identität entwickelt, in deren Zentrum ein variables „H“ steht, das abstrakt ein Gleismodul als Bindeglied zwischen Kunst und Diskurs symbolisiert – es bringt Kunst und Gesellschaft zusammen, fördert Austausch und Kommunikation. Die anpassbaren geometrischen Formen, kombiniert mit einer klaren Typografie, spiegeln die Flexibilität des Museums und seine wichtige Rolle in einer sich ständig verändernden gesellschaftlichen Landschaft wider.

Mit der Open-Air-Konzertreihe Berlin Beats im Museumsgarten feierte der Hamburger Bahnhof an zwölf Sommerabenden die elektronische Musikkultur Berlins. Die Musik der Berliner Künstler reicht von experimentellen Klängen bis hin zu harten Beats und spiegelt die Lebendigkeit der Stadt wider.
